Speaking at the Signing Ceremony, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung highly appreciated the cooperation program on labor between the two sides over the past time and said that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is an important milestone in the development process. continuing to promote the bilateral cooperation program between Vietnam and Australia. Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, the Australian side will receive Vietnamese laborers to work in the agricultural sector with the number of about 1,000 workers per year; basic salary (excluding living expenses) from 3,200 AUD – 4,000 AUD/month (equivalent to about 52.800.000 VND – 66,000,000 VND/month). This is a high level of income compared to other labor receiving markets. Australia has a developed economy, with modern agriculture.
